Landscape Scale Restoration
A new opportunity to improve our forests
Lumberjack RC&D is proud to have been awarded a Landscape Scale Restoration grant from the United States Forest Service. Our goal is to restore forest lands and to work with private landowners to help improve the health of their forests. This may include
- removing invasive species,
- planting native species,
- enhancing wildlife habitat
- ... and much more, across our nine Lumberjack counties in northeastern Wisconsin.
Most importantly, this new grant funding will help strengthen partnerships connecting neighbors and professionals to benefit the land. Join us as we work together towards successful restoration!
